Gluten-Free, Apple Crisp

Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Ingredients:
Filling:
- 8 apples, sliced
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon allspice
- 2 tablespoons coconut oil, melted
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
Topping:
- 1/4 cup coconut flour
- 1/2 cup shredded coconut
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup solid coconut oil or butter
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Mix all filling ingredients together in a bowl and pour into greased 9 x 9-inch baking dish.
Mix dry topping ingredients together, and then drop in cubes of oil or butter and mash together with your fingers until crumbly. Sprinkle on top of filling
Bake in preheated oven for 20 minutes.
*I would like to note that it’s not really important that the measurements be exact. I never measure when I make this and it turns out fine each time, so feel free to adjust to your taste.
