Ingredients:

  • 2 cups of hot, brewed black tea
  • 1 tablespoon grass-fed butter
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cardamom
  • 1 teaspoon raw honey

Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until frothy. Pour into two glasses and serve hot.

Directions:

Place milk, Coconut Cream Concentrate, and vanilla in a small saucepan or milk frothing pitcher. Heat milk until scalding or almost scalding (Do not simmer or boil!).

While milk is heating, combine espresso and chocolate chips. Whisk to blend.

Remove milk from heat and froth with a milk frother or whisk until milk is nice and frothy. Pour over the espresso and give the drink a quick buzz with a milk frother stick or stir with a small spoon gently to blend.

*If desired, omit Coconut Cream Concentrate and use part homemade coconut milk** for the whole milk.

**For the freshest coconut milk, make homemade coconut milk. (See video at this link.)

Author’s Note – Hot cocoa or hot chocolate is a classic, winter drink that can be easily whipped up at any time.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/3 cup sugar or honey
  • 3 1/2 cups whole milk
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup Coconut Cream Concentrate
  • 1 1/2–2 cups strong, black coffee
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • whipped cream, for garnish, optional
  • ice cream, of your choice for garnish, optional

Directions:

In a large saucepan with a wire whisk, stir together cocoa and sweetener. Over medium heat, add 1 cup of milk, the water, and Coconut Cream Concentrate. Whisk and bring to a simmer.

Add coffee and remaining milk and whisk until mocha is nice and hot. Add vanilla. Remove from heat and serve with a spoonful of the optional garnishes, if desired. Enjoy!!

Note: For a real energy booster, add 3 tablespoons of coconut oil.
